Student Timings
The normal school timings are from between 8:00am to 2:00pm. However some cities and Roots School campuses may have staggered timings for the convenience of parents, students, communities and on request of local city or district council. For Roots Thematic.
Montessori school timings are:
- Pre-Play-Group : 08:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Play Group : 08:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
- Junior Montessori : 08:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
- Advanced Montessori : 08:00 am to 01:00 p.m.
Roots Morning Assembly
All Roots School Campuses start the day with routine morning assembly at sharp 8.00 am. Our morning assembly includes recitation from the ‘Holy Quran’ together with English and Urdu translation, class wise morning assembly presentation on current, national, international and environmental issues. Dedicated subservience to national flag is signified and patriotism inculcated amongst our students through daily national anthem in front of the national flag.
Every year the Department of inter School co-ordination, communications & resources publish an annual ‘Roots United Nations Activity calendar’ clearly highlighting and celebrating the international, national, regional and religious Action days at our schools. Special arrangements and presentations are made during morning assemblies and the school environment is transformed into a make belief environment to support the action day through art, creativity and participation.
